KINGSCLIFF
I should really entitle this "Peppers Bale at Kingscliff" as we mostly stayed in and around this resort, and on the beach adjacent.
This was great for a little getaway although I must say that what I learned from it was that 5 days is not enough for a holiday! Especially when you have to do grocery shopping and a whole lot of cooking.
GETTING THERE
It is possible to drive, but we chose to fly into Gold Coast Airport and then as I don't think my little ones would have lasted a 9 hour drive in the car!
WHERE TO STAY
As mentioned above, we stayed in a serviced apartment at the Bale section of the Peppers Resort, which meant we had access to the pool facilities - this was great!
PLACES TO VISIT
Seaworld (plus all the other Gold Coast theme parks)
As we were only in Kingscliff for a few days, we only did one theme park, and I thought it was a really nice one to do with my kids at the ages they were at the time (1 and 4).
Seaworld Dr, Main Beach QLD 4217

GROCERY SHOPPING
We shopped at Coles Casuarina which was a short drive from our accommodation.
WHERE TO EAT
We mostly cooked, but ate out a couple of times; for Kingscliff restaurant reviews, click here.
